When Dana and Gareth Mitchell visited the
site in 2008 a request was made to learn to
read music. So on their return, the pupils of
Hebron Piano School together with Childs
Piano School, collected their used Lisa Childs
books and some keyboards. The following
year, Dana and Gareth returned to establish
piano tuition in the village of Kamutuuza.
With two electric keyboards, numerous paper
keyboards and 25 strong group of students,
the Lisa Childs method was well tested in
extreme conditions with great success! Dana
taught Jacob, the choir director on site, a step
ahead of the children, taking him to the middle
of book 2 in less than two weeks! This  project

In 2005, pupils of Hebron Piano School got
involved with the charity Just Care and raised
funds to help finance a children's home for the
orphans of Uganda. Concerts and a sponsored
pianothon was held, and some even found
sponsorship for doing their practice! Just Care
Kids club held at Hebron Piano School created a
link between our children here and the children
